Will World of Warcraft's starting backpacks get bigger?
Will World of Warcraft's starting backpacks get bigger? That's the question Xivper of the Alexstrasza server asked the Blizzard CMs. Needless to say, he got a response, but it's not what you'd expect to get.
Xivper posted on the forums, wondering if the starting backpacks would get bigger. As it stands, he notes, profession bags are hitting 28 slots, while normal bags can now hit 20 slots. He feels that it's time the original starting bags got an upgrade, either through the auspices of the dev team or by some new recipes that would upgrade the starting inventory from 16 slots to 20.
Bornakk's response was noncommittal, saying it was a possibility, but that "no final decision has been reached on the backpack at this time." Further on in the comments, Bornakk also mentioned that more specifics will be made clear the closer the expansion gets.
Let's just hope Bornakk or one of the other Blizzard CMs comes back with a more positive answer in the future. In the meantime, we suppose players will have to get used to having a semi-permanent 16-slot bag in their inventory.
